Historical NoteReturn to Top
Milton Krieger retired from Western Washington University's Political Science Department in 2003. As a long-term and avid jazz fan, he began researching the history of the local jazz scene in Whatcom County, Washington. Krieger's resulting work, "The Less Subdued Excitement: A Century of Jazz in Bellingham and Whatcom County, Washington" was published by Whatcom County Historical Society in 2012.

The collection contains Krieger's research files relating to people, places, organizations, programs and events, in additional to audio and audio-visual recordings and posters.
