Rabbi Samuel Koch was born in 1875. He died in 1944. Koch was rabbi at Temple de Hirsch from 1906 -1942. His civic activities concerned social concerns in Seattle.

Scope and Content: Incoming correspondence, eulogy, commemorative book, ephemera, clippings.

Much of the correspondence and the commemorative book are concerned with Samuel Koch's 25th anniversary year as a rabbi in 1931. The long typewritten eulogy was written by Rabbi Solomon Foster of Philadelphia. Clippings include obituaries for both Samuel Koch and his wife Cora D. Koch.
