Standley Hunter Rich was the grandson of Edward Hunter, an apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during its' early days. The photographs in his collection are mainly of his grandparents and parents. There is also a print of the Hunter residence in Nauvoo, Illinois.
