Seattle pioneer, businessman, public official
Henry Leiter Yesler was born in 1810 and died 1892. The estate papers relate to the "firm established by Yesler's unsecured creditors. Henry Yesler settled in Seattle in 1852 and operated a sawmill on the waterfront from 1852 to 1876. He also operated a store and invested in real estate.
