Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Anna Marie Sherwin emigrated from Stavanger, Norway at the age of 13. She was active in the Norwegian community in Seattle, wrote stories about Seattle history, especially Norwegian-American history, and was an active genealogist. A copy of her "family book" is in the Library's collection. She also compiled a scrapbook on the 1956 Scandinavian Music Festival in Seattle.
