Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Ruth Love is the granddaughter of Alice Lowenstein and the niece of Edith Braun. Flora Kleinmann, also known as "Gute Mutter" is her great grandmother. Flora's daughter Alice, married Ferdinand Lowenstein and had two children, Egon and Edith. Egon married Trude Furnberg and had a daughter, Inge Ruth. Edith married Leopold Reingruber (Boxl), her first husband, in Austria. Edith would later marry Otto Braun in the United States. Inge Ruth and her parents, Alice's son Egon Loewenstein and his wife Trude, moved to Seattle in 1946. Egon Herman Loewenstein became George Egon Leeds while in the United States. Inge Ruth Leeds later married Kenneth Love.
