The Bend Press Publishing Company's incorporators were Archibald Whisnant, George Vath, and James B. Kerr, and from 1916-1919, the directors were Clyde M. McKay, George T. Pearce, and D. B. Stuart. In 1923, the company reformed as the Bend Publishing Company.
