Content DescriptionReturn to Top

Collection of 18 loose black and white snapshots and 55 snapshots mounted on album leaves of Ralph Edward Leber (father-in-law of donor) and others engaged in mountaineering and leisure activities. Mr. Leber was very active in the Mountaineers and several of the photographs show pictures of the "Kitsap cabin," outings circa 1918 (probably in the Snoqualmie area), and Snoqualmie Mountaineers Lodge (of which Ralph Leber was chairman). Others document such things as a man being treed by bear, milking a cow, amateur theatricals and Christmas at a cabin (Kitsap?).
