Content DescriptionReturn to Top

Ephemera is defined as materials, usually printed documents, created for a specific, limited purpose, and generally designed to be discarded after use. This collection includes printed ephemera and broadsides, a single sheet with information printed on one side that is intended to be posted, publicly distributed, or sold.

Materials include posters, leaflets, tickets, ballots, advertisements, proclamations, timetables, maps, notices, and newspaper clippings. Materials cover a broad range of subjects but the bulk of the collection relates to Oregon elections, party politics, and community events.
