The sailing ship "Aspice" was a full-rigged steel ship built in 1894 by Mackie & Thomspon in Glasgow, Scotland. In 1900, the ship was sold to Navigazione General and renamed Sant Erasmo. Five years later, Theodor & F. Eimbcke bought the ship, renaming it again to Seerose. In 1909, Seerose was sold again and its named changed to Akties Aggi and later, Aggie Norge. On May 3, 1914, the ship wrecked off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.
