Professor of electrical engineering, University of Washington.
Irene Carswell Peden was born 1925. She taught electrical engineering at the University of Washington, and worked on a UNESCO project, Access of Women to Technical Careers in the West Coast Region of the United States of America, 1966-1970. Peden was a member of the Engineering Education and Accreditation Committee of the Engineers' Council for Professional Development, Inc. (name changed to Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology).
