This collection contains records created by the Beta Psi Chapter of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society at The University of Montana-Missoula including the chapter’s original charter, correspondence, meeting minutes, membership lists, and items related to the initiation ritual, 1945-1989. The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence, especially pertaining to the planning of regional conferences. Correspondents include, but are not limited to, members and potential members of Beta Psi, professors and students from other chapters in the northwest region, and national officers of the Society. Lists of members and potential members, meeting minutes, agendas, financial records, newsletters, announcements, and clippings are all included in the collection, but none cover the entire span of chapter history.
