The China Club of Seattle was founded in September 1916 to promote better cultural relations and trade with China. It is dedicated to providing a continuing program of information, educational fellowship, and cultural enlightenment for all who are interested in China by increasing the awareness, understanding and appreciation of developments in Chinese culture, history, philosophy, and current affairs.
