Abraham Harris was former Educational Director of the Workers Cooperative Colony and former Lincoln Brigade member. The main part of his papers are at Brandeis University. The scrapbook was begun by Richard Kenney.

Scope and Content: Address book, photographs, artwork, ca. 1936-1938; biographical sketch, 1992.

Papers of Abe (Albert Lyonel) Harris, a veteran of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade who fought in the Spanish Civil War on the side of the Republicans. Artwork includes original drawings by Sim and Ramon Puyol. Sim (note Sim not Sims) is represented by a spiral-bound book of 31 drawings, "Estampas de la Revolucin Espanola 19 Julio de 1936", three drawings titled "Fighting Spain" (not bound; the cover is like a printed folder) and two loose drawings. By Puyol are "10 Litografias por Puyol" (does have ten; both covers have come off) and seven loose Puyol art works. Finally, there are two pencil drawings by an unidentified artist.
