Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Joseph B. "Squire Joe" Sanders lived from 1813 to 1890. He was born in Kentucky, and traveled West to Walla Walla as a young adult. He was the son of Joseph and Harriet Sanders. In 1830 Sanders married Sarah "Sally" Fritz, a Dutch woman who lived from 1815 to 1878.
