Historical NoteReturn to Top
The Humanities Council was established in June of 1973 to serve in an administrative capacity with an aim to expand the Humanities program. In 1976 the University received a 5-year development grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. These are the records of the implementation and administration of that grant. Professors Constantine Cristofides and Ernst Behler served as co-directors of the program.
