Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Rillie Fletcher began playing in brass bands and orchestras in northern Oregon around 1932. She continued to play with various brass and marching bands for several years. These bands included Kaufman’s Dance Band and the Beaverton Band. Fletcher performed with these bands at various events, including the 1937 Washington County Fair, Oregon, and the 1939 Portland, Oregon, Rose Festival Parade.

Rillie Fletcher is likely related to brass orchestra leader Bob Fletcher.
