Professor of chemical engineering, University of Washington.

Dr. Sleicher joined the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Washington in 1960 and was Chairman from 1977 to 1989. He was a member of the governing board of the Council for Chemical Research. As Chairman of the Chemical Engineering Department he was active in the development of the Industrial Affiliates Program at the University of Washington.
