The Dorian Group is a Seattle gay rights organization, mainly composed of professional gay men and some lesbians. It was founded in 1974 and incorporated in 1975 as a non-profit organization. The group focuses on public education and legal reform, such as opposition to Seattle's Initiative 13 in 1977.

Scope and Content: 5 reel-to-reel tapes from/about the Dorian Society. They were given by Ward Folsom and Leigh Champlin to the Pacific Northwest Lesbian and Gay History Museum Project. The subjects of the tapes are talks that Dorian Society members gave, along with recordings of broadcasts of news or interviews on gay subjects by commercial media.
