Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Dr. Roger E. Moe was born in Minnesota in 1930. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology and chemistry from the University of Washington in 1952, then was on active duty with the Navy from 1952 to 1955. He completed the University of Washington Medical School in 1959. Dr. Moe spent his entire career with the University of Washington, where he was a professor in the Department of Surgery. He specialized in breast cancer care and promoted a multidisciplinary team approach in order to best treat his patients.
