Zak discusses the Seattle Chapter of Junior Hadassah, describing the activities and members of this young Jewish women's organization in the 1940s. She describes some of the fundraising projects for Youth Aliyah and the Me'ir Shefeyah Children's Village in Palestine. She also mentions some of the senior advisors in Seattle, including Elsa Levinson, Rena Anches, and Hazel Cole. Both Sophomore Hadassah (for ages 18-25) and Senior Hadassah (for women over 25) are discussed.
