Biographical NoteReturn to Top

The Omega Beta fraternity was founded at Montana State College, Bozeman, Montana on May 14, 1915 as the Anatnom Club. It was the third such organization founded at the college, and changed its name to Omega Beta in the fall of 1915 after the faculty lifted a ban on Greek letter organizations. The Omegas eventually owned their fraternity house on 302 South Wilson. As early as 1932, the Omega Betas petitioned for a charter as a local chapter of the national Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity, but the process was not complete until 1939 when the organization became the Zeta Triton chapter of Phi Sigma Kappa.
