Professor of medicine, administrator, University of Washingt
Ruth Marian Wilson was born 1910. She began teaching at University in 1936 as an instructor in the School of Physical and Health Education, Department for Women. She was made an Associate Professor in 1945, and served as executive officer of the Department from 1947-1962 when her titile was changed to chairman. She attained the rank of full professor in 1966, and retired as professor emeritus in 1975.
