Accession No. 3198-001: Lester Kleinberg oral history interview, 1979Return to Top

1 sound cassette (60 minutes)

Scope and Content: Tape recorded interview conducted by Joseph Cohen and Meta Buttnick.

Interview spans 1873-1979. Lester (Larry) Kleinberg tells the history of the Kleinberg family. The tape contains much of interest concerning the other branches of the family. Lester's paternal great-grandparents came to Oregon circa 1830. (Dr. Droker has recently interviewed Henry Kleinberg's daughter, Lena Holzman, whom Larry Kleinberg frequently mentions. The interview, on Tape 549, Accession no. 3199, amplifies this tape.)
