Pacific Coast Banking School was formed in 1936 as Pacific Northwest Banking School; the first session was held in August 1938 on the UW campus. In September 1947 the name was changed to its present form, Pacific Coast Banking School. International programs were later established, and in August 1977 the school's Pacific Rim Program has its first session.
